Patched was a brand concept born out of an idea I had for celebrating how bad of a photographer I can be. Often, I just well and truly fuck it. Especially whilst shooting on film, and I would be incredibly frustrated getting these 'mistakes' back from the lab. Completely discarding them into the bin of my own self-doubt as a photographer in a frenzy to forget that I'm still a student of the medium and always will be.
But I feel like mistakes should be cherished and celebrated for being one of the greatest things in the world; they make learning possible, they make growth and improvement a reality. These repurposed images represent my appreciation for the chance to get better at something I get such a buzz out of.
